Blown Through with Light: The Poetry of Inner Practice with Chris Thompkins
Come enter the play of light and darkness. Wildness entreats you in the voice of the birds and the shadows beneath the jungle canopy. Ocean waves invite you to dive deep and discover the beauty and complexity that lie within. Warm sun awaits you in the hammock after morning practice. Through it all, woven in that dance of darkness and delight is Shakti's grace and wisdom. Move into that wilderness. She is there, she is everywhere. Most of us arrive to our Yoga via asana. But this is only the first powerful transformation available from this ancient stream. Alignment lives on all levels of our being; body, mind and heart. Our week together will be an elegant weaving of asana, philosophy, inner practice, time for silence, and plenty of play.
Step into the "5 star Eco-Village" of Haramara Retreat center. Your room, open to the beauty of the jungle but screened in against the critters, is an opulent refuge. Fresh and delicious meals await you while the beach is just a quick walk down the hill after our practice in the open air sanctuary. Let the tropical breeze caress you, the ocean wash through your heart, and your inner work reveal the brilliance that is your birthright.
