In classical Yoga desire was thought to be a fire which only brought suffering and should be transcended. Yet Freud, in his mapping of the psyche saw the 'libidinal stream' as our essential life force and drive towards growth. We all know desire is a complex territory to negotiate so how do we do so skillfully? Join me for this three day immersion integrating Anusara Yoga, Western psychology and creative expression. The philosophical roots of Anusara, Tantra, teaches us there is a deep intelligence present in this force. When we actively and consciously step into the current of our heart's longings we can use this vital life force to serve our own awakening, deepen love and intimacy and to savor the gifts life offers us.

Each day will include a blend of asana, meditation, discussion and creative exploration. Participants should bring a journal and writing implements
